The setting of this public library is unique, nestled in the treetops overlooking a lake, the scent of pine penetrating the senses. A variety of areas in which to enjoy the solitude or with others are created throughout the library.

The library incorporates two levels of public space, with the youth area located on the lower level. Timeless design penetrates this library in all aspects of design. While the same blue-green palette extends from the exterior to the entire interior of the library, vibrant tones are added in the youth area. A creative, curvilinear nook was developed, complete with wayfinding developed by carpeted bear and child's footprints, leading from the bronze sculpture at the entrance, through wetland murals and ending with playful seating and technology counters on the opposite side of the curvilinear seating.

Unique to this library is the parent-child reading room, complete with fireplace, soft red upholstering on the lounge seating, table lamps, and custom slate tables complete with computer accessibility.
