This building, comprised of one, two and three story spaces, offers high-tech training and flexible educational opportunities to people of various skilled backgrounds. A combination of classrooms, laboratories, automobile workshops and meeting spaces is provided. Brushed aluminum and burnished masonry block flank the exterior, and in their combination, create a slick, hi-tech facade. Once in the building, masonry walls line the corridors and the classrooms.

In contrast to the masonry walls, the flooring is designed to inspire while at the same time, withstand the incredible wear that this building will experience. Once in the lobby, stained concrete creates a pattern that pulls the visitor toward the state-of-the-art auditorium. Contemporary seating creates several conversation groups. Ribbons of perforated stainless steel create movement along the catwalk ceilings and also run the length of the two-story atrium space and terminate at eye level with the integration of an electronic screen. Linoleum flooring imitates this same design concept throughout the balance of the building.

The integration of technology into the furnishings of this building was mandatory. All classrooms house the latest in technology. Custom-designed instructor's stations were used throughout. Challenged by the repetitious use of masonry throughout the corridors, classrooms and laboratories, color, texture and form played an important role in developing a facility that while hi-tech in inspiration, is warm and friendly in its overall ambience.
